Llais y Disgybl / Pupil Voice
Mae llais y plentyn yn ganolog i bob agwedd o fywyd yr ysgol. Mae hyn yn rhan o’r weledigaeth, gyda’r disgyblion a’r staff yn ymrwymo iddi er mwyn sicrhau’r llwyddiant. Nod yr ysgol yw bod gan bob disgybl berchnogaeth dros yr hyn y maent am ei ddysgu yn ogystal â mynegi barn am weithgareddau tu hwnt i’r cwricwlwm, fel gweithgareddau allgyrsiol sy’n cefnogi a chyfoethogi bywyd ysgol a datblygu’r plentyn yn gyflawn.
Yn Ysgol Tonyrefail mae Cyngor Eco, Criw Cymraeg, Cyngor Ysgolion Iach, Llysgenhadon Chwaraeon, Llysgenhadon Gwych a Chyngor Ysgol weithgar. Maent yn trefnu digwyddiadau a’u rhannu a rhieni drwy lythyrau, posteri a negeseuon testun.
Mae gweithgareddau yn cynnwys trefnu dyddiau Iechyd a Lles, diwrnodau codi arian anhyrwyddo’r Gymraeg ymysg y rhieni a chymuned yr ysgol drwy lunio posteri a thaflenni gwybodaeth.
Pupil voice is central to every aspect of school life at Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Tonyrefail. It is a part of our school vision, a vision in which the pupils and staff commit to it in order to ensure success. We thrive to ensure that all pupils have ownership over what they want to learn as well as expressing an opinion about activities beyond the curriculum, such as extracurricular activities that support and enrich school life and develop the child completely.
At Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Tonyrefail we have an Eco Council, a ‘Criw Cymraeg’, Healthy Schools Council, Sports Ambassadors, Super Ambassadors and an active School Council.
The councils organise events and share them with parents through letters, posters and text messages. Activities include organising health and well-being days, fundraising days for various charities and promoting the Welsh language amongst parents and the school community by creating posters and information leaflets.
